Registration for the 2011 Charlie Harris 10K in Tucker, Georgia opened up today on Active.com. I’ve registered and I’m looking forward to a great race. This will be my third Charles Harris race. My two previous races were in 2003 and prior. I still have my 2003 race t-shirt but it’s not looking very good anymore.
The Charles Harris is purported to be one of the fastest 10K races in Georgia and a great qualifier for the Peachtree Road Race. The starting elevation is about 1080' ASL and the finish is 100' lower at 980' ASL. I’m already set for the PRR so this race will be my opportunity to improve my wave start in the Gate River Run 15K in Jacksonville, Florida on March 12th.
